The California Assisted Living Association (CALA) recognized Dionne Hamilton, medication technician at Carlton Senior Living Sacramento, with the Outstanding Caregiver Award during an Awards Celebration Luncheon held on June 5 at Elevate: CALA’s Spring Conference & Trade Show in Sacramento.

This award recognized Dionne’s exceptional service and commitment to enriching the lives of residents over her 12-year tenure.

Dionne Hamilton’s journey in senior living spanned over two decades, during which she consistently demonstrated warmth, compassion and innovation. Dionne’s versatility was a testament to her dedication. She seamlessly transitioned between roles, whether as a medication technician or care partner, always prioritizing the well-being of residents.

Dionne is also a great mentor, sharing her wisdom effortlessly and setting high standards of care through her own actions, passing along best practices and excellent customer service standards to new generations of staff and offering her guidance and ensuring all of her colleagues succeed and flourish.
